“WOW! Look at the stars here!” A frequent comment we hear from our guests who live in cities, towns and even villages where the light pollution masks the beauty of the sky at night. Only half a mile from our village of St Florence and yet it can be very dark here as guests who visit us in winter have noticed.

So…. (for selective use to minimise light pollution!) we would like to announce the low level ‘lighting up’ of our central landscaped and parking areas for safety and convenience. This has come as a bit of a shock to us country folk used to the dark but it is nevertheless very exciting to see our gardens ‘floodlit’.
