How we’re keeping you safe

So much has changed since we last welcomed guests to East Jordeston! We’ve worked tirelessly over the past few months to ensure that you’ll be as safe as possible while staying with us and we’d like to share what’s new.

East Jordeston Cottages is a member of the Professional Association of Self-Caterers and Pembrokeshire Tourism.  Both of these Trade Associations have collaborated to develop guidance, advice and strict cleaning protocols.. In line with this, East Jordeston Cottages has been accredited by Visit Wales as ‘Good to Go’.

Risk Assessment

In line with the agreed guidelines we have conducted a detailed Risk Assessment to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. We will continually review our Risk Assessment to take into account any changes in guidelines or legislation. If you would like further information on our risk assessment or Covid-19 procedures, please do contact us.

Cleaning protocols

All properties at East Jordeston will be fogged twice with sanitising spray on changeover dates. Once when guests leave to ensure safety for our team entering the property and then again for a second time once the changeover clean has been completed to sanitise the property before the next guests arrive.

The housekeeping team have all been trained in Covid-19 cleaning protocols.

We are using cleaning products in line with Government and advisory body Covid-19 guidelines and all sanitising products are certified for EN 14476.

The housekeeping team wear appropriate PPE and follow our strict cleaning checklist and protocol.

Arrival and Departure

This year, we will be providing a no-touch check-in and check-out process. You will be able to access your property without direct contact with us as the Key will be in your door for arrival. If you need anything during your stay we are just a phone call or email away on 01834 871416 and We have had to alter our arrival and departure times slightly to allow extra cleaning time but all relevant information for booked guests will be sent to you in advance.

We do like to personally welcome all of our guests when you arrive at East Jordeston. We will obviously not be able to come in to the property, but we can speak to you from a safe distance just outside your cottage, if you don’t mind 🙂

We will provide simple instructions for you to follow when you depart to help our team prepare the property for the next guests.

We are unsure about the opening of our cwtch/reception and play area, we hope to open these as soon as possible so guests can use them safely.

If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay you must inform us immediately.  If you are well enough to travel you should return home and self-isolate in accordance with current Government guidance.
