A traditional country pub which has served the local community since 1896! The Cresselly Arms sits quayside on a tidal tributary of the River Cleddau and is a proper local pub serving a basic selection of drinks, including local guest ales.
You won’t find any food here, although during summer weekends charity hog roasts are occasionally held outside the pub. The real draw of the Cresselly Arms is the tranquil location and the virtually unchanged interior of the pub itself, which is very popular with locals.
Up river a short distance from the pub is a set of stepping stones leading to the opposite bank of the river. If you do decide to cross, don’t forget that the Cresswell River is tidal so keep an eye on the water level!
